Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all conference registration fees paid through the official Future of Health Conference website.

A registration is considered confirmed only after:

• Successful payment;
• Receipt of an official confirmation email from Nigeria Health Watch.

If you are unable to attend the Conference, you may request cancellation by contacting the Conference Secretariat.

Refund eligibility is as follows:

Requests must be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat.

Refunds will not be granted for failure to attend the Conference.

Where permitted, participants may request to transfer their registration to another individual up to 7 days before the Conference, subject to approval by Nigeria Health Watch.

Transfer requests must be submitted by email.

If Nigeria Health Watch cancels the Conference and does not reschedule it, registered participants will receive a full refund of the registration fee paid.

Refunds will not include:

• Travel expenses;
• Visa costs;
• Accommodation;
• Transportation;
• Insurance;
• Bank charges;
• Foreign exchange losses;
• Other incidental expenses.

If the Conference is postponed or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond Nigeria Health Watch's control, registrations will automatically be transferred to the new event date.

Participants who are unable to attend the new date may request a refund within the timeframe communicated by Nigeria Health Watch.

In the case of unexpected changes to the Conference's primary format (physical), Nigeria Health Watch can offer a virtual participation option, and registrations may be converted to virtual attendance where appropriate.

Any applicable partial refund will be determined at the discretion of Nigeria Health Watch.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever possible.

Refund processing may take 7–21 business days, depending on the participant's bank or payment provider.

Nigeria Health Watch is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers or payment processors.

Unless required by law, the following are generally non-refundable:

• Processing fees charged by payment providers;
• Bank transfer fees;
• Currency conversion charges;
• Donations;
• Optional merchandise purchased during registration.

Nigeria Health Watch reserves the right to refuse refunds where fraudulent payment activity, chargeback abuse or unauthorised transactions are suspected.
